Importing a Track From an Audio CD into the AW16G
Insert the audio CD into the AW16G.
Create or load a new song. The track from the audio CD will be imported into the current song so make sure a new blank song is the currently loaded song. Page 39 of the manual goes over creating a new song.
In the 'Work Navigate' section, press the [UTILITY] button until the D.IN-HDD screen is displayed.
Cursor to the OFF icon next to ''DIGITAL REC'' on the LCD screen and then press the [ENTER] button.
A popup window will appear that states, ''OBSERVE Copyright Notice Written in Owner's Manual?''. Cursor to OK and press the [ENTER] button. The copyright notice is on page 5 of the owners manual.
In the 'Work Navigate' section, press the [TRACK] button until the ''CD Import'' screen is displayed.
The ''READ CD INFO'' icon will appear in the center of the LCD display. Press the [ENTER] button. The AW16 will display, "READ CD INFO..." and the information on the CD will be read by the AW16G.
Use the Cursor Arrows and the [DATA/JOG] wheel to select the track from the audio CD track and the tracks to which it will be imported to on the AW16G.
Cursor to ''EXEC'' and press the [ENTER] button.
