Distortion on input channel 8
The AW16G comes loaded with a demo song. In this demo song, there is an amp simulator on input channel 8. As a result, anything plugged into input channel 8 will sound distorted until the amp simulator is removed. The following is a procedure for removing this effect from input channel 8:

Press the [INPUT SEL] button for input channel 8. This is the button directly beneath the channel 8 gain knob.
Press the [EFF 2] knob until the SEND screen is displayed.
Cursor to 'ON' beneath channel 8 on the LCD screen and press the [ENTER] button.
A popup window will appear asking you if want to "Release EFF 2 Insert". Cursor to OK and press the [ENTER] button.
NOTE: This only clears the demo song settings on input channel 8. Recalling scene 00 will clear all of the demo song settings.
