Disk or Card Not Ready Message Appears When Trying to Save

This message is common with users who have purchased Smart Media cards. If there are dashes in the brackets when trying to save data, the Smart Media card is not being seen and needs to be checked to see if it has been properly installed.

On Yamaha products, the Smart Media Card goes Gold side down. The Smart Media card should be flush with the slot casing. Check to make sure the card is in all the way. The card may require a little pressure to insert completely.
