Recording Arpeggio Note Data in Song or Pattern Mode on a MOTIF
Arpeggio note data can be recorded to a Song or Pattern Track by turning the Arpeggio Switch ON for the desired Track, and also toggling ON the Arpeggio note transmit function. 1) Press the [SONG] or [PATTERN] button.2) Press the [MIXING] button.
3) Press the ARPEGGIO [ON/OFF] button (above SEQ Transport buttons) so that it's ON (LED illuminates).
4) Select a desired Track and Voice using.
5) Press the [EDIT] button.
6) Press the [F1] 'VOICE' button.
7) Press the [SF2] 'MODE' button.
8) Select 'ON' for the 'ArpSwitch'.
9) Press the [COMMON] button (aka DRUMKITS/FAVORITES) so that it's ON (LED illuminates).
10) Press the [F3] 'ARP' button.
11) Press the [SF1] 'TYPE' button.
12) Choose the Arpeggio bank (if necessary).
13) Choose the desired Arpeggio type.
14) Press the [REC] button.
15) Press the [F4] 'ARP' button (not the [F3] 'ARP' button) until a 'note' icon appears to the right of 'ARP'. This enables the Arpeggiator note data to be recorded to the Track.
16) Play the arpeggiated Voice and record it to the Track using the normal recording method.
NOTE: On playback, make sure that the ARPEGGIO [ON/OFF] button is OFF, or unexpected arpeggio performance will result.
