Accessing Channels 2-4

This is related to the preset Multis in the MOTIF Rack. The MOTIF Rack comes with preset Multis that contain preset sounds on each channel. Parts 1-4 are set to receive on channel one instead of channels 1-4. Initializing the Multi will resolve this issue and reset all midi channels to 1-16 on each part. 1) Press the [MULTI] button.

2) Press the [UTILITY] button.

3) Page to the right until ''Initialize'' shows up in the display.

4) While holding down the [SHIFT] button, press the [MUTE/SEL] button three times.

5) While holding down the Shift button, press the [UTILITY] button.

6) While holding down the Shift button press the [MUTE/SEL] button two times.

7) The Multi has been initialized and stored.

8) Try using channels 2-4 from the sequencer.
