Voice Parameters Assigned to Controllers will not Store on MOTIF-RACK

All four Assignable Controllers on the MOTIF-RACK can be assigned to various parameters, however they differ in function. Assignable A (ASA) and Assignable B (ASB) are used to control global parameters and are assigned in Utility mode.

Assignable 1 (AS1) and Assignable 1 (AS1) are used to control individual parameters for each Voice, and are assigned in the 'Control Set' page of Voice Common Edit mode.

If Any Voice Parameters have been assigned to Assignable Controllers ASA, ASB, AS1, or AS2, they cannot be permanently stored with a Voice. The current assignments for ASA, ASB, AS1, or AS2 can be viewed in the normal Voice mode screen. This is desireable. These parameters can be changed in real time from the assignable controllers. To set global Assignable Controllers (ASA and ASB) to a Different Parameter (or 'off'):

1) Press the [UTILITY] button.

2) Use the 'PAGE' [<] and [>] buttons to display the 'CtrlAsn' screen.

3) Use the [^] and [v] Cursor buttons to select the desired Assignable Controller.

EXAMPLE: 'ASA Asgn'

4) Use the Data Dial to select the desired parameter.

EXAMPLE: 'PortaCtl' instead of the default 'AEG-Dcy'

To set Individual Voice Assignable Controllers (AS1 and AS2) to to a Different Parameter (or 'off'):

1) Press the [VOICE] button.

2) Press the [EDIT] button.

NOTE: Make sure that the 'MUTE/SEL' button LED is not illuminated.

4) Use the 'PAGE' [<] and [>] buttons to display the 'CtrlSet' screen.
