The AW16G has a Quick Loop Sampler built-in. There are 4 sample pads for the Quick Loop Sampler. For each sample pad there are four sample pad banks, for a total of up to sixteen samples that can be loaded into a song at one time.

Only 4 pads can be used at any given time but it is possible to switch the selected sample pad during the course of the song. This is done in the songs tempo map section.

The maximum available recording time is 44 seconds per song for all of the sample pads.
