Recording Song Tempo Changes on a Motif

Song Tempo changes can be recorded in real time, or inserted into the Song data as a single event. Recording Tempo Changes in Real Time:

1) From Song mode, press the [REC] button.

2) Select 'tempo' in the screen for the 'RecTrack'.

3) Cursor to the actual 'Beats Per Minute' number underneath the word 'tempo' (Ex: 120.0).

4) Press the [>] Play button to start recording, and use the Data Dial to record tempo changes in real time.

Recording Individual Tempo Changes:

1) From Song mode, press the [REC] button.

2) Select 'tempo' in the screen for the 'RecTrack'.

3) Press the [EDIT] button.

4) Press the [F5] 'INSERT' button.

5) Select the location (measure:beat:clock) for the tempo change.

6) Set the desired tempo.

7) Press the [F6] 'SET' button.

8) Press the [EXIT] button two times to return to the main screen.
