Assigning Outputs in Multi Mode on a MOTIF-RACK

Each Part of a Multi setup can be set to one of the eight Output Selection choices.

1) Press the [MULTI] button and select a desired Multi setup.

2) Press the [EDIT] button.

3) If the [MUTE/SEL] button LED is ON, press it once to turn it OFF.

4) Press one of the four Part Select buttons to select a desired Part.

EXAMPLE: Press the [3/7/11/15] Part Select button repeatedly to select Part 11.

5) Use the 'PAGE' [<] and [>] buttons to display the 'Output' screen.

6) Use the [^] and [v] Cursor buttons to select 'OutSel' on the left side of the screen.

7) Use the Data Dial to select one of the eight output choices for the Part. The choices are 'L&R', 'as12', 'as34', 'as1', 'as2', 'as3', 'as4', or 'drum' (if a Drum Voice has been selected for the Part).

NOTE: When 'drum' is selected as an output for a Part using a Drum Voice, the output destination settings for each key of the Drum Voice are enabled.

8) Using the Part Select buttons, repeat step 7 for subsequent Parts.
