Disabling/Enabling the Yamaha CBX Driver Multiport Option in Windows 95/98/ME/2000/NT4

Click the <Start> button from the Windows task bar.
Select 'Control Panel'.
Double-click 'YAMAHA CBX Driver' icon in the 'Control Panel' window. The 'YAMAHA CBX Driver Setup' dialog box will appear.
Click the appropriate box in the 'COM Port Setting' group of the desired COM port for the TO HOST device.
NOTE: COM Port 1 (COM1) is the default setting when the CBX driver is first installed, however, a user can change this by selecting any one of up to four available COM port settings.
Select a Multiport option in the 'Other Setting' group.
NOTE: Multiport functionality is only accessible with models that incorporate multiple MIDI ports. When the Multiport option is selected the following CBX drivers will be available:

To enable the Multiport option, select the 'Multiport' check box.
NOTE: Only the YAMAHA CBX A Driver will be accessible and will be listed in the 'MIDI music playback group' in the Windows Control Panel.
Click the <OK> button to confirm all new CBX driver settings that have been made in the 'YAMAHA CBX Driver Setup' dialog box.
Click the <OK> button in the 'Changes Saved' prompt window.
Restart the computer for the new settings to take effect.
