No sound from the built-in speakers on a P150

Make certain the Volume slider is not in the minimum position setting. If so, set it to a reasonable level and check for sound.
Make certain the Speaker switch is in the ON position. If not, turn the switch ON and check for sound.
Check the Local Control Parameter Settings:

Press the [EDIT] button.
Press the Voice Select [5] button.
If the LCD reads, 'LOCAL OFF', press the [+1/YES] button to turn it ON.
Press the [EDIT] button again to exit the Edit mode.
