Using Split Mode on a DX21

1) Press the [PLAY SPLIT] button to enter 'Split' mode.

NOTE: The letters 'SP' in the upper left corner of the display indicate that the 'Split' mode has been selected.

2) Select one Voice from Bank 'A' and one Voice from Bank 'B' from the green buttons located to the right of the display screen.

NOTE: The upper display line shows the number and name of any voice selected from the 'A' row of memory selectors, while the lower display line shows the number and name of any voice selected from the 'B' row. The 'A' voice will be assigned to all keys to the left of and including the programmed split point, while the 'B' voice will be assigned to all the keys to the right of the split point.

3) To designate the Split Point, press and hold the [S POINT] button, then press the key on the keyboard that corresponds to the desired Split Point location.
TIP: Use the 'BALANCE' slider to adjust the balance between the two selected Voices.
