Sustain Pedal Operation is Reversed
The sustain pedal operation can become reversed if the pedal is pressed down while the power is being turned ON or if the pedal is plugged in while the keyboard is ON. Below is a procedure that may solve the problem.
Reversing the Sustain Pedal Operation:

Power the keyboard OFF.
Press and hold down the sustain pedal while powering the keyboard ON.
Release the sustain pedal. The sustain pedal should operate properly.
NOTE: If the above procedure does not work, performing a Factory Reset may return the sustain pedal to normal operation. Be aware that some lower end portable keyboards do not have a Factory Reset function.
