PSR730 Multi Effect function
The Multi Effect function allows the assignment of one of three types of effects (Reverb, Chorus, DSP) to one of the three voice parts (R1, R2, or L) of the keyboard. In addition, the Multi Effect function makes it possible to assign either one effect or to combine two effects on one voice part.- 1) Press and hold the [MULTI EFFECT]
button (under the Digital Multi Effect heading), displaying the Settings Frame for this function. Make certain that the Multi Effect icon is lit on the display.
2) Press the SUB-MENU
button (located to the left of the display) to select the voice part to which to apply the effect. The display should initially read ''Effect 1 In; Right''.3) Use the [YES] or [NO] buttons (located on the Number Pad to the right of the display) to select the voice.
4) Press the SUB-MENU
button to select the Effect Type. The display should read ''Effect 1; 01 Hall 1'' 5) Use either the [YES] or [NO] buttons or the Dial to quickly scroll through the various effect types.
6) Press the SUB-MENU
button to select the DRY / WET settings.NOTE: Dry refers to a sound with no effects applied to it and conversely, Wet is the effect to be applied to a sound. The DRY / WET value is the balance of the effect applied to the voice.
7) Use the process listed above to generate Effect 2.
TIP: Two effects can be applied to a single voice part by making the voice part the same for 'Effect 1 In;' and 'Effect 2 In;'.
WARNING: Make sure that the Multi Effect icon is showing in the display or there will be no effect.
NOTE: When a song is recorded using a Multi Effect voice and is then played back, the Multi Effect icon does NOT need to be displayed for the Multi Effect to be heard in the song.
