Swapping Tape Return Inputs 17 - 24 with Channel Inputs 1 - 8 on an 01V
01V input channels 17-24 have fewer features than the ''full-featured'' input channels 1-8. Input channels 17-24 can be ''swapped'' with input channels 1-8, so that the digital returns can use the full-featured inputs on the 01V. The SWAP function is found on the ''Input Swap'' page of the Option I/O menu.
To swap all (8) tape return channels (17-24):

Press [OPTION I/O] repeatedly until the ''Input Swap'' page appears.
Cursor to SWAP underneath ''Global''.
Press [ENTER]. The text SWAP should now have a dark background and light text.
To swap individual tape return channels (17-24):

Press [OPTION I/O] repeatedly until the ''Input Swap'' page appears.
Cursor to SWAP underneath the desired channel(s) individual numbers 17-24.
Press [ENTER]. The text SWAP should now have a dark background and light text.
