Setting the Memory Protect parameter on an SPX900

The SPX900 incorporates a 'Memory Protect' feature that, when enabled, prevents accidental over-writing of custom effect settings. Similarly, when custom effect programs are to be saved to RAM, the Memory Protect must first be set to 'OFF.'
Accessing the Memory Protect parameter
  1. Press the [UTILITY] button until 'MEMORY PROTECT' appears on the top row of the display.
  2. Press the Up Button button next to the right side of the display to set 'Memory Protect' to 'ON'.
  3. Press the Down Button button next to the right side of the display to set 'Memory Protect' to 'OFF'.
