Using the Digital In Attenuation feature on an SPX900

The Digital Input Attenuation feature enables the user to adjust the input level in the digital audio realm. Adjusting the input level in this manner will improve the S/N (Signal to Noise Ratio) versus using the analog input volume control. The effective range of attenuation is from 0dB ~ -60dB in 1 dB increments.
Accessing the Digital Input Attenuator
  1. Press the [UTILITY] button until 'DIGITAL IN ATT.' appears on the top row of the display.
  2. Press the Up Button and Down Button buttons next to the right side of the display to set the digital attenuation to the desired dB level.
NOTE: The default value is: ATT. = 0 dB
