Routing Inputs to Direct Outputs on an 02R

The first 16 Mic/Line Input channels on an 02R can be routed to the Direct Outputs of Slot 1 and Slot 2. Input Channels 1 - 8 correspond to YGDAI Slot 1 Outputs 1 - 8 and Input Channels 9 -16 correspond to YGDAI Slot 2 Outputs 1 - 8.

NOTE: The 16 Mic/Line Inputs are Analog by default, however, if YGDAI option cards are placed in Slots 3 and/or 4, the digital inputs on those cards can then be routed to the Direct Outputs. Additional Digital I/O setup would be required.

EXAMPLES:

Mic/Line Input Channel 7 corresponds to Slot 1, Output Channel 7 = Track 7
Mic/Line Input Channel 13 corresponds to Slot 2, Output Channel 5 = Track 13

  1. Press the [ROUTING] button located in the 'MIXING' group of the 'DISPLAY ACCESS' controls. The 'ROUTING' page will appear on the 02R display.
  2. Press the [SEL] button to select an Input Channel for assignment, or use the cursor buttons to select the desired Input Channel on the 'ROUTING' page.
  3. Navigate with the cursor buttons until the 'D' at the bottom of the column is highlighted.
  4. Press the [ENTER] button. The background for the 'D' parameter will become darkened indicating the channel has been routed to the Direct Output.

NOTE: Once a Direct Output is assigned, the corresponding Group Bus is not longer available on that YGDAI Slot. I.e. If Mic/Line Input Channel 7 is assigned to the Direct Output, Group Bus 7 is no longer accessible from YGDAI Slot 1.
