Using 110VAC equipment in 220VAC countries

WARNING: Yamaha Corporation of America is not liable for any damages incurred and does not guarantee proper function of any Yamaha product while being used with any other non-Yamaha product.

In order to power a 110VAC based product where only 220VAC is available, a special ''step-down'' Transformer is required. The transformer will convert the voltage from 220VAC to 110VAC. The Voltage Converter must provide the minimum power required in order to adequately power the equipment, however a greater amount of wattage is advised. Please consult the specifications for the specific model to determine the required amount of wattage that the transformer must provide.

NOTE: There is no need to covert cycles. The internal circuitry has a built-in tolerance for 50/60 hertz operation.

CAUTION: Voltage Converters used for common grooming devices, such as electric razors or hair dryers, are NOT recommended, even when the apparent available wattage is sufficient. Consult a product specialist at an authorized reseller to determine the appropriate Voltage Converter required.

Voltage Converters are available from electronic parts and equipment dealers. One such dealer is:
