Configuring the Split Point and Split Voice selections on a P200

When in Split mode, two Voices can be played at the same time, one Voice on the left side of the keyboard, and a second on the right.

NOTE: In Split Mode the 'Pitch' and 'Modulation' wheels, as well as the Sustain, Soft and Sostenuto pedals will only affect the Main Voice.
Setting the Split Point:
  1. Press and hold the [SPLIT] button. The LED above the button will illuminate and the current Split Point designation and keyboard area will briefly appear in the screen.
  2. While still holding the [SPLIT] button, press a key on the keyboard. The key pressed becomes the new Split Point and the screen will display the Split Point information.
NOTE: As long as the [SPLIT] button is being held, the note name of the key pressed will blink in the display. Pressing another keyboard key will change the Split Point again. Additionally, the Split Point can be raised or lowered one semitone at a time by holding [SPLIT] button and pressing the [-1/NO] or [+1/YES] button.

Assigning the Left and Right Voices:
  1. Press the [SPLIT] button. The LED above the [SPLIT] button will light. The keys of the keyboard will split into two areas, one playing the main voice selected in Single or Dual mode, and the other playing the Voice which was last selected as the Split mode Sub-Voice.
NOTE: Upright Bass is the default Sub-Voice in Split mode. The Voice displayed on the left-side of the LCD display is the Sub-Voice and the Voice on the right-side is the Main Voice.
  2. Press one of the 'Voice Select' buttons to select the Main Voice.
  3. Press the [SPLIT] button.
  4. Press one of the 'Voice Select' buttons to select the Sub-Voice.
