Using the Quick Access feature on an S80

Pressing the [QUICK ACCESS] button when in 'Voice' mode allows the user to select Voices by 'Category' (see table below). This feature is useful when looking for a specific type of Voice.

For each Category, 'Quick Access' selects twelve Voices from the Preset Banks and four Voices from the Internal Banks. To select other Voices, 'Quick Access' must be turned OFF. The selection of Voices used for 'Quick Access' is listed in the separate Data List.

User-selectable Voices can also be called up with 'Program' buttons [13] - [16] in each 'Quick Access' Category. This is done by storing the selected Voices into certain Internal Voice locations. (See steps below.) 'Quick Access' Categories:

Selecting Voices with 'Quick Access':
    1) Press the [VOICE] button to enter 'Voice' mode.

    2) Press the [QUICK ACCESS] button. The LED next to the button will illuminate.

    3) Press an [A] - [H] 'Bank' button to select a Category. (See table above.)

    4) Press a [1] - [16] 'Program' button to select a Voice in the chosen Category.
Storing Voices for 'Quick Access':
    1) Turn off the 'Quick Access' function by pressing the [QUICK ACCESS] button until the LED is OFF.

    2) Press the [VOICE] button to enter 'Voice' mode (with 'Quick Access' LED OFF).

    3) Select a Voice.

    4) Press the [STORE] button.

    5) Press an [A] - [H] 'Bank' button to select a Category. (See table above.)

    TIP: Any Bank may be used, however, it will be easier to remember where the selected Voices are, if they are stored in the appropriate Categories. (Ex: Store 'Gt:MuteGtr' in the GTR/BASS Bank.)

    6) Press a [1] - [4] 'Program' button for the Voice location. These buttons will correspond to the [13] - [16] 'Program' buttons when 'Quick Access' is ON.

    7) Press the [ENTER] button.

    WARNING: The next step will overwrite the Voice currently in the Internal destination number.

    8) Press the [INC/YES] button.

    NOTE: To get back the original factory Internal Voice settings, the S80 can be reset. Click here for 'S80 Factory Reset procedure'
