Transposing the Pitch of an S80

The Pitch can be transposed for the entire unit ('Master Note Shift') or individually for each Part in a Performance ('Layer Tune'). Transpose the Pitch for the Unit:

1) Press the [UTILITY] button.

2) Turn the (PAGE) knob until 'MSTR TG' is displayed on the left side of the screen.

3) Turn the (1) knob to transpose the pitch from -24 to +24 semitones (half-steps).
NOTE: The transposed setting will remain in memory until changed.

Transpose the Pitch for an Individual Part:

1) Press the [PERFORM] button and select a Performance.

2) Press the [EDIT] button.

3) Press and hold the [SHIFT] button.

4) While holding the [SHIFT] button, turn the (PAGE) knob until the cursor points to 'LYR' at the bottom of the screen.

5) Turn the (PAGE) knob until 'LYR Tune' is displayed on the left side of the screen.

6) Turn the (A) knob to select a Part.

7) Turn the (C) knob to transpose the Individual Part pitch from -24 to +24 semitones (half-steps).
