Installing the Card Filer application on a computer for use with an S80

'Card Filer' is an application found on the 'Tools' CD-ROM that comes packaged with the S80. This computer application enables the user to save, load, convert and organize data in conjunction with SmartMedia Cards on the S80. The application is compatible with both PC and Macintosh operating systems. (See below)

1. Insert the 'Tools' CD-ROM into the computer.
2. Open 'Windows Explorer'.
3. Click on the CD-ROM Drive icon in the 'All Folders' column.
4. Double-click the 'Card' folder in the 'Contents' window.
5. Double-click the 'Setup.exe' file.
6. When the 'Welcome' screen appears, click the <Next> button.
7. When the 'Choose Destination Location' screen appears, click the <Next> button.
8. When the 'Information' screen appears, click the <OK> button to complete installation.

1. Insert the 'Tools' CD-ROM into the computer.
2. Double-click the CD-ROM icon labeled 'XW444A0'.
3. Double-click the 'International' folder.
4. Double-click the 'Tools' folder.
5. Double-click the 'Install S80&CS6x/CS6R Tools' icon.
6. Click the <INSTALL> button to install the Voice Editor, Card Filer and .pdf Owner's Manual.NOTE: When the installation is completed, a window will appear displaying the message, 'Installation was successful'.
7. Click the <Quit> button to exit the installation application.
