CS Series

Using Scenes on a CS6X

Edited 'FILTER', 'EG', and Assignable knob settings for a Voice or Performance can be stored to the 'SCENE' [1] and [2] buttons. The 'Scene' (CONTROL) knob can then be used to smoothly transition from one Scene to another.

NOTE: Scenes can be stored temporarily while in a Voice or Performance, if they are not needed in the future. However, these Scenes will be lost when going to another Voice or Performance, unless the original Voice or Performance is stored again. Each Voice or Performance can store two Scenes.

Storing Scenes (temporarily):
    1) In Voice or Performance Mode, make the desired 'FILTER', 'EG', and Assignable knob settings.

    2) Press and hold the [STORE] button, then press the 'SCENE' [1] button. The edited settings are now stored to Scene 1.

    3) If a second Scene is desired, make the 'FILTER', 'EG', and Assignable knob settings.

    4) Press and hold the [STORE] button, then press the 'SCENE' [2] button. The edited settings are now stored to Scene 2.
NOTE: Another method is to store the Voice or Performance without edits to the 'Scene' [1] button, then store a version edited with the knobs to the 'Scene' [2] button.

Using Scenes:
    1) To call up Scene 1 or 2, press the 'SCENE' [1] or [2] button.

    2) To transition or 'morph' between the two Scenes, turn the 'Scene' (CONTROL) knob.
Storing Scenes with a Voice or Performance (permanently):
    1) Press the [STORE] button.

    2) Turn the (1) knob to select a memory bank (INT or EXT).

    3) Turn the (2) knob to select a location number.

    4) Press the [ENTER] button.

WARNING: The next step will overwrite the version previously stored in the chosen location.

    5) Press the [INC/YES] button.
