Protecting Custom Configuration Memories on the FB01 when Power is OFF

The FB01 comes with an internal Memory Battery which maintains the settings of custom Voices and Configuration Memories when there is no power supplied to the unit. This battery, however, can be switched OFF when necessary to extend the life of the battery.

NOTE: The Memory Battery has a life expectancy of about five years. To replace the battery, contact an authorized Yamaha service and repair center.

1) Set the [ON/OFF] 'BATTERY' switch located in the rear of the unit to 'ON' to protect custom Voices and Configuration Memories.
NOTE: When the unit is NOT being used to store custom Voices and Configuration Memories, turn the [ON/OFF] 'BATTERY' switch to 'OFF'.
