Using Registration Memory on a PSR730

Registration Memory makes it possible to save Voice and Accompaniment Parameters for quick recall during a live performance. There are 32 banks containing Registration Memories. Each bank contains 4 Registrations for a total of 128 complete Registrations. Each Bank can be given a custom name. The following settings are memorized by the Registration Memory function:

Voice parameters: R1 & R2 Voice (Voice number, Volume, Octave, Pan, Reverb depth, Chorus depth, DSP depth), Dual Voice ON/OFF, Split Voice ON/OFF, L Voice (Voice number, Volume, Octave, Pan, Reverb depth, Chorus depth, DSP depth), Pedal 1 & 2 function, Split Point (Split Voice), Touch Sensitivity, Reverb ON/OFF, Chorus ON/OFF, DSP ON/OFF (variation ON/OFF), DSP Type, Multi Effect (ON/OFF, Effect 1/2: part, type, dry/wet), Harmony ON/OFF (type, volume), Pitch Bend range, Modulation Wheel function, Scale Tuning.

Accompaniment parameters: Auto Accompaniment ON/OFF, Fingering Mode, Tempo, Split Point (Auto Accompaniment), Accompaniment Volume, Track data (Track ON/OFF, Voice, Volume, Pan, Reverb depth, Chorus depth), Accompaniment section (Main A/B), Multi Pad Set number, Chord Match ON/OFF (Multi Pad 1 - 4), Transpose, Reverb type, Chorus type, Groove & Dynamics (ON/OFF, templates, rates), Style number (Style names for the user Styles). Saving Parameters into Registration Memory:
    1) Choose the desired Voice and Accompaniment parameters.

    2) Press and hold the [MEMORY] button until the word 'Bank' appears on the top left corner of LCD display.

    3) Release the [MEMORY] button.

    4) Press the [-1/NO] or [+/YES] buttons to select the desired BANK location.

    5) Press and hold down the [MEMORY] button and press any one of the 'REGISTRATION MEMORY' buttons, [1] to [4]. The Registration Memory number for the saved settings will appear on the display above 'REGISTRATION MEMORY'.

    6) Release the [MEMORY] button.
    WARNING: Any data that was previously recorded in the selected Registration Memory location will be erased and replaced by the new settings.

To recall a Registration Memory setting:
    1) Press and hold the [MEMORY] button until the word 'Bank' appears on the top left corner of LCD display.

    2) Release the [MEMORY] button.

    3) Press the [-1/NO] or [+/YES] buttons to locate the BANK where the Registration Memory has been saved.

    4) Press the desired 'REGISTRATION MEMORY' button, [1] to [4], to recall memorized settings.
    NOTE: The number of the Registration Memory will appear above 'REGISTRATION MEMORY' on the LCD along with the saved parameter settings.
