Using Directories to Organize Files on a SmartMedia Card in an S80
Directories and Sub-Directories can be created on a SmartMedia Card to help organize data files. This is similar to the folder/file system used on computers. If a Directory has been created on a SmartMedia Card, it must first be selected in Card Mode on the S80, before the files it contains can be accessed.TIP: There are different options for saving data to a SmartMedia Card; data can be saved to the card directly from the host unit, and can also be saved to the card using the Yamaha 'Card Filer' applcation on a computer. For saving and loading Song data (SMF format), this application is required. Click here for 'Saving and Loading data using a SmartMedia Card on an S80'. Click here for 'Saving and Playing a Song using a SmartMedia Card on an S80'.
