Modifying the Auto Accompaniment on a PSR620

Auto Accompaniment on a PSR620 consists of rhythm instrumentation on eight Tracks that can be modified to achieve the desired accompaniment: Rhythm 1, Rhythm 2, Bass, Chord 1, Chord 2, Pad, Phrase 1, and Phrase 2. Below are four methods that can be used to modify the Accompaniment. Using the Accompaniment Large/Small Track control:
    1) Press the [ACCOMP LARGE/SMALL] button to alternately turn the desired Tracks ON or OFF and to increase, or decrease the number of Parts used in the Auto Accompaniment. When a Track is ON the appropriate icon will appear in the display.
NOTE: The LARGE accompaniment is always selected when a new Style is selected. If the setting is at SMALL then only the Rhythm 1, Bass and Chord 1 parts play.

Muting Individual Tracks:
    1) Press desired the [TRACK ON/OFF] buttons to toggle a Track ON and OFF.
NOTE: When the Track is turned OFF the Accompaniment icon disappears from the display.

Changing Accompaniment Track Voices:
NOTE: General MIDI (GM) Voices are normally used for the Accompaniment, instead of Panel Voices. For a list of GM Voices refer to the Owner's Manual, p. 85.
    1) Press the Up Button, Down Button, Left Button, or Right Button 'CURSOR' buttons to move the cursor to the 'VOICE' number parameter field on the LCD display.

    2) Enter the Voice number. (Three methods: a - c)

a] Press the [-/NO] or [+/YES] buttons to move up, or down, the Voice number list.
      or
b] Enter the Voice number directly, using the [0] to [9] Number buttons.
      or
c] Turn the Data Dial to scroll up, or down, the Voice number list.
Adjusting Accompaniment Track Volume:
    1) Press the Up Button, Down Button, Left Button, or Right Button 'CURSOR' button to select the 'VOL' (Volume) paramenter on the LCD for the desired Track. The 'Volume' bar will flash.

    2) Press the [-/NO] or [+/YES] button to adjust the volume level. The shorter the 'Volume' bar is on the LCD, the lower the volume.
