Reinstalling the Plastic CD Drive Cover on an AW4416
It is highly recommended that the plastic cover be reinstalled once the CD drive is mounted in place, even though it will cover up the [EJECT] button of the CD drive. Alternatively, the transport operations can, and should, be controlled directly by the AW4416 software. This method enables the AW4416 operating system to remain synchronized with the drive status, decreasing the chance of a malfunction.
NOTE: Installation of the cover, in addition to asthetics, will also help prevent accidental depressions of the [EJECT] button.
NOTE: Only when either the 'CD PLAY', 'FILE', or 'MASTERING' pages of the AW4416 are displayed on the LCD screen, is it possible to access the transport functions of the CD drive via ''soft'' control.
Software CD Drive Control:

Press and hold either [SHIFT] button below the LCD display. The displayed 'Function' labels for the [F1] and [F2] buttons will change to 'CD LOAD' and 'CD UNLOAD', respectively.
Press the desired 'Function' button, [F1] - 'CD LOAD' or [F2] - 'CD UNLOAD', to initiate the corresponding transport function.
