Auditioning the Patches on a DG STOMP
The Yamaha DG STOMP includes a total of 180 'Patches'. The Patches are organized into a Preset and User 'Area' (90 Preset Patches / 90 User Patches). Each 'Area' is comprised of (10) ten 'Groups' and each Group is comprised of (3) three 'Banks' containing (3) Patches each.
NOTE: When the DG STOMP is shipped from the factory, the Patch data in the User Area is a duplicate of the Patch data in the Preset Area.
Selecting an Area:

Press the [UP] and [DOWN] buttons simultaneously. The unit will toggle between the Preset and User Areas each time the buttons are pressed.
NOTE: When the Preset Area is selected, a dot will appear to the lower right of the hundreds digit on the display, i.e. ( 0.11 - 9.33 ). Conversely, when the User Area is selected, NO dot will appear to the lower right of the hundreds digit on the display, i.e.( 011 - 933 ).
Selecting a Group:

Press and hold the [UP] or [DOWN] button to increment or decrement through each Group in the selected Area.
Selecting a Patch:
-
Press the [UP] or [DOWN] button to increment or decrement through each Patch.
TIP: The DG STOMP will automatically change to the next Bank, Group, and/or Area when the end of each section is reached and the [UP] or [DOWN] button is pressed repeatedly.
