Exporting Tracks as a Wav File to a CD on an AW4416

The audio Tracks on an AW4416 can be exported as .wav files. The user has a choice of exporting a single Track 1-16 or the Stereo Track.

NOTE: A CD can only hold 650MB, therefore, if the combined size of the selected Track(s) exceed 650MB, then you cannot execute the export function.
  1. Press the [EDIT] button located in the RECORDER section above the (DATA/JOG) dial.
  2. Press the [F1] button to display the 'TR Edit' page.
  3. Use the 'CURSOR' buttons to select 'TRACK', then press the [ENTER] button.
  4. Use the 'CURSOR' buttons to select 'EXPORT', then press the [ENTER] button.
  5. Use the 'CURSOR' buttons to select 'TO DRIVE', then press the [ENTER] button.
  6. Use the 'CURSOR' buttons to select the CD Recorder, then press the [ENTER] button.

    NOTE: The default is CD-RW SCSI #3.

  7. Use the 'CURSOR' buttons to select 'EXIT', then press the [ENTER] button.
  8. Use the 'CURSOR' buttons to select 'TRACK', then press the [ENTER] button.
  9. Use the (DATA/JOG) dial to select the desired Track export option.

    The options are:


    • An Individual Track (1-16)
    • The Stereo Track (ST)
NOTE: Although 'AL' appears in the Track export options list, it is currently NOT a viable option when using an internal CD-RW drive. The 'AL' option is ONLY viable when using an external MO storage device.

  1. Press the [ENTER] button. The 'Confirmation' prompt will appear and will display the selected Track export option.
  2. Use the 'CURSOR' buttons to select 'EXECUTE', then press the [ENTER] button.
