Setting the Word Clock on an 01V

The wordclock source for the 01V can either be the internal clock on the unit or from an external device. If the internal clock is selected the sample rate is fixed at a frequency of 44.1kHz. The 01V can also sync to an external digital signal applied to the Stereo digital input (SPDIF), or to the YGDAI expansion card. The 01V can sync to external word clock frequencies between 40KHz and 50KHz, which includes the commonly-used word clock frequencies: 44.1KHz and 48KHz.
Setting the Wordclock Source:
CAUTION: When the wordclock source is changed, audible glitches or clicks may be produced. It is recommended that all output volume levels be reduced prior to changing the wordclock source.

Manually Setting the Wordclock Source:
  1. Press the [SETUP] button until SETUP page 1 is displayed.
  2. Use the cursor buttons to select the desired wordclock source option.
NOTE: A viable wordclock option will either have a single diagonal line or no lines at all running through the icon.
  3. Press the [ENTER] button to set the selected option as the wordclock source.

  6. Use the cursor buttons to select 'OK' to accept the recommendation, or select 'CANCEL' to refuse.
  7. If 'OK' was selected, press the [ENTER] button to complete the process.
