Determining Which Voices a Pattern Utilizes on a QY100

The Voice is actually stored within the Phrase that the Pattern Track is using. Examine the Phrase Table for the desired Pattern Track to determine the Voice being used.

1) Press the [PATTERN] button for the main 'Pattern' screen.

2) Select the desired Pattern.


a) Scroll to the Pattern.


1] If necessary, use the Cursor buttons to highlight the Pattern number at the top of the display.
2] Use the [-1/NO] or [+1/YES] buttons to scroll to the Pattern.

or

b) Type in the Pattern number directly.


1] Press and hold the [SHIFT] button, then use the black Micro-Keyboard key buttons to type in the Pattern number.
2] Press the [ENTER] button to select the Pattern.


3) Select the desired Pattern Section. (INTRO, MAIN A, MAIN B, FILL AB, FILL BA, ENDING)


a) Scroll to the Section.


1] If necessary, use the Cursor buttons to highlight the Section at the top of the display.
2] Use the [-1/NO] or [+1/YES] buttons to scroll to the Section.

or

b) Select the Section directly.


1] If necessary, use the Cursor buttons to highlight the Section at the top of the display.
2] Press the white Micro-Keyboard key button that corresponds with the desired Section.


4) Use the Cursor buttons to select the desired Track.


5) Press the [MENU] button.

6) Press the [F3] Function button next to 'EDIT'.

7) Press the [MENU] button.

8) Press the [F4] Function button next to 'PHRASE TABLE'. The Voice being used shows in the 'PHRASE VOICE' section.

9) To view the Voice information for a different Track in the same Pattern / Section, press the [EXIT] button twice and then repeat steps 4 - 8.

10) To view the Voice information for a Track in a different Pattern / Section, press the [EXIT] button twice and then repeat steps 2 - 8.
