Routing Talkback to the Studio Headphones on an 02R
The internal Talkback microphone on the 02R does not route directly to any of the Aux Sends. The Talkback microphone is routed to the Studio Monitor Out. The source for the Studio Monitor Out can be derived from AUX 5 and 6, the Stereo Bus, or the Control Room Monitor Bus.
In order for Talkback to be routed to the Studio Headphones, the 'Studio Monitor Out' connectors on the 02R must be connected to the studio headphone amplifier. A headphone mix can then be set up on AUX 5 and AUX 6, and selected as the source for the Studio Monitor Out. This will allow the performers in the studio to have a mix that is independent of what is being monitored in the Control Room, and to also hear the Talkback.
