Assigning the Song Buttons to Specific Drives or Directories on a PSR9000 and 9000PRO

The five 'SONG FILE DIRECTORY' buttons on the left side of the front panel can be assigned to act as 'short cuts' to specific drives (floppy, SCSI, or internal hard drive) or directories for quick access to Song files.

1) Press a 'SONG FILE DIRECTORY' button, [I] - [V].

2) Press the [8] LCD button that is located below the words 'POP UP' on the screen.

3) Select the desired 'DEVICE' (drive) and 'DIRECTORY'.


a) Press the [1] LCD button to select the 'DEVICE' (Drive).

b) Press the [4] LCD button to select the 'DIRECTORY'.


4) Press the [NEXT] button. The screen will display a message, 'The directory has changed. If you want to keep this change, use the System Backup operation'.

5) Press the [G] LCD button.

6) Press the [EXIT] button to return to the Main screen.

7) Press the [A] LCD button to initiate the System Backup operation.

8) Press the [G] LCD button to complete the System Backup.
