Changing the Background Color of the Display on a PSR550

The 'Backlight' function allows the background color of the display to be changed.

The setting choices are: Auto, Blue, Red, Purple, OFF
NOTE: The default 'Backlight' setting is 'Auto'. In the 'Auto' setting the background color changes automatically depending on the keyboard mode. When the 'Backlight' function is set to a color, Blue, Red or Purple, the background color remains fixed on the selected color. When the 'Backlight' function is set to 'OFF', the backlight is completely turned OFF.

Keyboard Mode/Background Colors Assignments When Setting is 'Auto':
  •  Style Mode = Blue
  •  Song Mode = Purple
  •  Record Mode = Red Changing the Background Color of the Display:
1) Press the [FUNCTION] button.

2) Rotate the Data Dial or press the [+/YES] and [-/NO] buttons to select the 'Utility' menu.

3) Press the [NEXT] button.

4) Rotate the Data Dial or press the [+/YES] and [-/NO] buttons to select the 'Backlight' function.

5) Press the [NEXT] button.

6) Rotate the Data Dial or press the [+/YES] and [-/NO] buttons to select the 'Backlight' setting.

7) Press the [EXIT] button.
