Downloading the Song Filer Program and Free Sample MIDI Files
|
The Song Filer is a program that allows the user to manage the Flash Memory in the following models: DD55, DGX200, DGX202, DGX300, DGX500, EZAG, EZEG, EZ30, EZ250i, PSR290 and PSR292. NOTE: To access and download the Card Filer application for the MAC (OS 7.5 - 9.2.2.) click here. Download Procedure (Song Filer, Windows):
1) Click here to download the latest Song Filer Version 2.00. The instructions below explain the download process.
a) Select the 'Save this program to disk' radio button in the 'File Download' dialog box.
b) Click the <OK> button. The 'Save As' dialog box will appear. 
c) Select the Windows Desktop as the destination folder.
1] Click on the drop-down button in the 'Save In:' field and select 'Desktop'. ('Desktop' will appear at the top of the drop-down list)
2] Click the <Save> button. The 'Saving Progress' dialog box will appear until the download is complete.
Extraction Procedure:
1) Double-click on the 'SongFiler.exe' application file that is located on the Windows Desktop. The 'WinZip Self-Extractor' dialog box will appear.
a) Click the <Unzip> button. The files will be unzipped into the Windows Desktop and then the 'WinZip Self-Extractor' confirmation dialog box will appear.
b) Click the <OK> button.
c) Close the 'WinZip Self-Extractor' dialog box by clicking on the <Close>button.
NOTE: The above procedure will save four files to the Windows Desktop into a folder called 'SongFiler'.
Download Procedure (MIDI Files, Windows):
1) Click here to download the Free MIDI Files. The instructions below explain the download process.
a) Select the 'Save this program to disk' radio button in the 'File Download' dialog box.
b) Click the <OK> button. The 'Save As' dialog box will appear.
c) Select the Windows Desktop as the destination folder.
1] Click on the drop-down button in the 'Save In:' field and select 'Desktop'. ('Desktop' will appear at the top of the drop-down list)
2] Click the <Save> button. The 'Saving Progress' dialog box will appear until the download is complete.
Extraction Procedure:
1) Double-click on the 'XG MIDI.exe' application file that is located on the Windows Desktop. The 'WinZip Self-Extractor' dialog box will appear.
a) Click the <Unzip> button. The files will be unzipped into the Windows Desktop and then the 'WinZip Self-Extractor' confirmation dialog box will appear.
b) Click the <OK> button.
c) Close the 'WinZip Self-Extractor' dialog box by clicking on the <Close>button.
NOTE: The above procedure will save 71 files to the Windows Desktop into a folder called 'XG MIDI'.
Launching Song Filer:
1) Open the 'SongFiler' folder.
2) Double-click on the 'SongFiler.exe' file to launch the Song Filer. |
