Using the Octave and Transpose Function on an EZ30

The 'Octave' function transposes the Guide Tracks (melody) of a Flash Song in single octave increments (+/- 2 octaves). The Octave function can transpose the melody notes so that they play in a position within the range of the keyboard. This way, the user can take advantage of the 'Lesson' function. The Octave function does NOT affect the pitch of the Accompaniment Tracks of the Song (drums, bass, guitar) nor the actual pitch of the keyboard voice.

The 'Transpose' function changes the pitch of the Guide Tracks (melody) of a Song and the pitch of the keyboard voice in semitone increments (+/- 12 semitones). This function is useful when the user would like to play a Song in a different key while maintaining the same hand positioning.

Adjusting the Octave:
    1) Press the black Down Button button that is located at the upper right of the LCD screen repeatedly until 'OCTAVE' appears on the screen.

    2) Press the [+/YES] or [-/NO] button to raise or lower the Octave setting as desired.

NOTE: The Octave setting CANNOT be adjusted while a Song is playing.
Transposing:
    1) Press the black Down Button button that is located at the upper right of the LCD screen repeatedly until 'TRANSPOS' appears on the screen.

    2) Press the [+/YES] or [-/NO] button to raise or lower the pitch as desired.
