The 'RECORDER TRACK INPUT ASSIGN' area of the screen is used to route signals from the 24 Input Channels, 16 Monitor (Playback) Channels, and 2 Effects Return Channels to the 16 Recorder Tracks:
-
To route one of the first 16 Input Channels directly to a Recorder Track, cursor to the box below the desired Recorder Track number, then dial the desired Input Channel Direct Out 'DIR 1' - 'DIR 16'.
To route any Channels to a Recorder Track via a Bus (useful for routing multiple Channels to a Recorder Track):
-
Cursor to the box box below the desired Recorder Track number, then dial the desired Bus 'BUS 1' - 'BUS 8'.
Press the [PAN] button in the 'MIXER' section. The 'PAN/ROUTE' screen is displayed.
Use the [F1] - [F2] buttons to select a Channel group containing the Channel to be recorded.
Find that Channel in the screen and the Bus numbers underneath it. Cursor to the Bus number chosen in step 1 (above), and press the [ENTER] button to select it. The Channel is now routed to the Recorder Track.
