Use of the Guitar/Mic Input on the QY100

The 'GUITAR/MIC INPUT' feeds into an Analog to Digital (A/D) converter allowing the signal from the guitar or mic to be processed by the on-board Amp Simulator. The Amp Simulator is equipped with 18 Guitar Effects Setups and 5 Vocal Effects Setups. The setups can be edited or customized. Once the signal is processed, it is added to the other internal audio sources, I.E. patterns or sequences, and the combined signal is sent to a Digital to Analog converter which feeds the 'LINE OUT/PHONES' output. This feature makes the QY100 very useful as an accompaniment device for a guitarist or vocalist. For more information see:

NOTE: The QY100 does not have an audio recording function. The QY100 is capable of recording MIDI data, not audio. However, the 'LINE OUT/PHONES' output can be connected to a variety of audio recording and PA equipment.
