Connecting a Video Monitor
This information applies to the following models:
9000PRO, CVP107, CVP109, CVP205, CVP207, CVP209, CVP700 and PSR9000.
The keyboards listed above are equipped with a 'VIDEO OUT' connector. The 'VIDEO OUT' connector allows the screen contents, such as MIDI lyrics, to be displayed on a large video display.
The video display device that is to be connected to the keyboard, must be equipped with an NTSC Video Input. Sometimes NTSC is also called 'Composite' Video. In the USA, NTSC is the standard video signal format. In Europe, the PAL standard is used.
The 'VIDEO OUT' connector on the keyboard is an RCA connector. The cable that connects the keyboard to a video display device should have RCA connectors at both ends. The cable should be shielded for best results. RCA cables can typically be purchased at Yamaha Dealers or at most consumer electronics stores.
