Equipment Required to Load RM1X Data into an RS7000

RM1X Song or Pattern data can be loaded into an RS7000 by copying the RM1X data from a floppy disk to a SmartMedia ™ card using a SmartMedia ™ Card Reader/Writer and a computer. Once the RM1X data is copied, the RS7000 will read it directly from the SmartMedia ™ card.

NOTE: Most Reader/Writers interface directly to a USB port on a PC or MAC computer.

SmartMedia ™ Card Reader/Writers can typically be purchased from most consumer electronics outlets. However, Microtech International, Inc. is one manufacturer that markets a SmartMedia ™ Card Reader/Writer.
