CVP Series

Voices Sound Strange Even After a Reset

This information applies to the following models:

CVP103, CVP105, CVP107, CVP109

When the 'Voice Setting' parameter is set to 'AUTO', the 'Voice Setting' function automatically selects the Effects parameters for each individual Voice. These parameters are fine tuned in the Factory to bring out the best sound quality in each Voice. By default, the Voice Setting is set to 'AUTO'. If the Voice Setting is set to 'MANUAL', the Effects parameters remain fixed for ALL the Voices. This may not produce the best results since a single Effects setting may not sound good if it is applied to ALL the Voices. Since the Voice Setting parameter is not affected by a Factory Reset, manually changing the Voice Setting parameter to 'AUTO' should resolve the situation.

Setting the 'Voice Setting' Parameter to 'AUTO':
  1. Press the [FUNCTION] button. The 'Function' LED will illuminate.
  2. Press the 'PAGE' Left Button or Right Button buttons to display the 'FUNCTION [KEYBOARD 2]' screen.
  3. Press the button located below 'VOICE SETTING' in the screen to select 'AUTO'. Now, each time a Voice is selected, its factory-set Effects parameters will be applied to it.
