Routing an Input Channel to an Internal Effects Processor on an AW2816
The AW2816 contains two Effects Processors. These two Effect Processors can either be inserted into an individual Track (Channel) or connected to an Aux Send. When inserted into a Track, an Effect Processor can only be used on that particular Track. When connected to an Aux Send, multiple tracks can be sent to the Effect Processors. The following is the procedure for routing an input channel to the internal Effect Processors using an Aux Send.
-
Press the [INPUT 1-8] button in the 'MIXING LAYER' section.
Press the [AUX 5] (EFF1) or [AUX 6] (EFF2) button and adjust the faders of any tracks that need Effects.
NOTE: The more a fader for a particular Track is raised, the greater that Track will be ''effected''.
Press the [HOME] button in the 'MIXER' section. Select one of the following options:
-
If the [ON] button above the (RTN 1) (EFF1) and/or (RTN 2) (EFF2) knobs is already illuminated proceed to step 5.
Press the [ON] button(s) above the (RTN 1) and/or (RTN 2) knobs if the button(s) are NOT illuminated. The LED for the selected button will illuminate.
-
Turn the blue (RTN 1) (EFF1) or (RTN 2) (EFF2) knob clockwise until the corresponding 'RTN' knob in the upper right hand corner of the display is turned 3/4ths of the way, the default output level, or adjust as desired for lower output level settings.
