Recording Tempo Changes on a PSR550
Tempo changes can be recorded throughout a Song by changing the Tempo and recording to a blank Track.- 1) With a Song in Record mode, use the [BACK] and [NEXT] buttons to display the 'SongRec' screen.
2) Select 'SongRec:MultiRec'.
3) Press the [NEXT] button four times to display the 'Rec/Ply T01' screen.
4) Select an empty Track by pressing one of the 16 Track buttons located under the screen.
5) Turn the (DATA) Dial to the right, to select 'Rec' in the upper right corner of the screen.
6) Press the [NEXT] button once to display 'Rehearsal' in the screen.
7) Press the red [START/STOP] button to start the Song.
8) Press the [TEMPO/TAP] button.
9) While listening to the Song, turn the (DATA) Dial to select a desired Tempo in the screen.
10) Press the blue [EXIT] button.
11) Press the [NEXT] button once to display 'Song Rec Ready' in the screen.
12) Press the red [START/STOP] button to start the Song. The Tempo last selected will be recorded.
13) Press the [TEMPO/TAP] button and then turn the (DATA) Dial to change the Tempo of the Song.
14) Press the [START/STOP] button to stop the Song after all desired Tempo changes have been made.
15) Press the [+/YES] button to save the song to the floppy disk.
