Editing the EQ of a Voice Element
When in Voice Edit mode, if the gray [COMMON] button has been pressed, one of the 'Common' Voice Edit parameters displayed in the screen is 'MEQ OFS'. This stands for 'Master EQ Offset'. These settings can be stored with the Voice (as a User Voice), and will offset the Voice mode Master EQ settings whenever the edited Voice is called up.However, if the same Voice is used in Pattern or Song mode, these settings will have no effect. This is because they only offset the Master EQ settings of VOICE MODE, not Pattern or Song mode. In order to change the EQ of a Voice and have those settings be retained no matter what mode it is used in, the Voice EQ settings must be edited at the Element level. Editing the EQ of a Voice Element:
- 1) Press the [VOICE]
button.
2) Select a desired Voice.
3) Press the [EDIT] button.
4) Press the desired 'Element' button [1] - [4] on the right.
TIP: If the [COMMON] button LED is illuminated, press and hold the [COMMON] button then press the desired 'Element' button [1] - [4].
5) Press the [F6] 'EQ' button to edit the EQ of the selected Element.
6) Repeat steps 4 - 5 for other Elements.
7) To store the edited Voice, press and hold the [STORE] button, then select a desired User Voice location.
8) Press the [ENTER] button.
9) Press the [INC/YES] button.
