Samplers
Connecting and Loading from an External SCSI CD-ROM Drive to the A4000 and A5000 Samplers
- 1) Verify 'Self ID' number on the sampler.
b) Press the [F5] button.
c) Turn (1) KNOB to select 'DISK-Setup' page.
d) Note Self ID number.
- 2) Turn OFF the sampler.
3) Set the SCSI ID on the CD-ROM drive different from 'Self ID' number.
4) Turn the CD-ROM drive 'Terminator' switch to ON.
5) Connect a SCSI cable between both units.
6) Power ON the CD-ROM drive, and then Power ON the sampler.
7) Press the [DISK] button.
8) Press the [F5] button. The name of the CD-ROM drive should be indicated next to its SCSI ID number.It may be necessary to turn (2) KNOB to view all 8 SCSI ID's.
9) Use (2) KNOB to highlight CD-ROM drive.
10) Use (3) KNOB to set the 'MOUNT' parameter to ON.
- 1) Insert a disc into CD-ROM drive
2) Press the [DISK] button
3) Press the [F5] button
4) Turn (1) KNOB to select the 'DISK-Disk' page.
5) Turn (4) KNOB to select the desired partition.
6) Press the [F1] button to select 'DISK-PgmLoad' page.
7) Turn (4) KNOB to select the desired program.
8) Press (4) KNOB to load the selected program.
9) Press (5) KNOB to execute the loading procedure.
