Write Protect Message is Displayed when Saving to a SmartMedia Card
This information applies to the following models: CS6R, CS6X, DTXTU (Control unit for the DTXTREME, DSXT10/11), MOTIF 6, MOTIF 7, MOTIF 8, QY100, RS7000, S30 and S80.
IMPORTANT: The above Yamaha products are designed to work with 3.3V SSFDC Forum compliant SmartMedia cards.
The SmartMedia card has a write protect sticker.
On the bottom of the card, where the gold is, there is a small circular white, silver, or other color sticker. It must be peeled OFF in order to save data to the SmartMedia card.
