Purchasing Compatible SmartMedia Cards

This information applies to the following models: CS6R, CS6X, DTXTU (Control unit for the DTXTREME, DSXT10/11), MOTIF 6, MOTIF 7, MOTIF 8, QY100, RS7000, S30 and S80.

IMPORTANT: The above Yamaha products are designed to work with 3.3V SSFDC Forum compliant SmartMedia cards.

The standard SmartMedia card capacities are listed below:

  • 2MB
  • 4MB
  • 8MB
  • 16MB
  • 32MB
  • 64MB
  • 128MB
Toshiba is a manufacturer of SSFDC Forum compliant SmartMedia cards. Below is a list of part numbers:

  • Toshiba 128MB SmartMedia Card; Part # DDSMFLS2-128
  • Toshiba 64MB SmartMedia Card; Part # DDSMFLS2-64
  • Toshiba 32MB SmartMedia Card; Part # DDSMFLS2-32
