Explanation of the Mixing Layers of an AW4416
The AW4416 has 3 Mixing Layers that are controlled by the [1-16], [17-24 RTN] and [MONI] buttons. By pressing any one of these buttons, the faders can be assigned to different functions. Below is a table that gives the fader assignments for each Mixing Layer.
IMPORTANT: Before activating a Mixing Layer, make sure that all of the [AUX] buttons in the 'FADER MODE' section are OFF by pressing the [HOME] button.

NOTE: To view the Input Channel assignments, press the [SETUP] button in the 'UNIT' section and then press the [F1] button. In the 'MIXER CHANNEL INPUT ASSIGN' list, the Channel Inputs include the analog inputs, the 'OPTION I/O SLOT' inputs, and 'DIGITAL STEREO IN' input.
